USATF Lone Star Grand Prix presented by 44 Farms

A legal 21.70 before the championship phase gives Thomas a clear statistical anchor for the summer 200m picture while preserving the distinction between the sourced result and broader season interpretation.

  • Thomas won in 21.70 with a +0.7 m/s wind.
  • The official timing page marked the result as SB, facility record and world lead.
  • Kayla White ran 22.07 for second and Favour Ofili ran 22.15 for third.

HOKA Festival of Miles

This was not just another fast invitational: it changed both national high school all-time lists and sharpened the summer U20/NBN calculus, while still relying on public result and media sources for the ranking language.

  • Jackson Spencer ran 3:57.24 for the championship boys mile.
  • Carter Smith ran 3:59.00 and Brian Burns ran 3:59.70 in the same race.
  • Ellery Lincoln ran 4:27.65 for the championship girls mile.

  • Ngetich won in 30:07.
  • She split 14:57 for 5K and won by 46 seconds.
  • The podium was Ngetich 30:07, Gebreselama 30:53, Obiri 31:10.

USATF Lone Star Grand Prix presented by 44 Farms

A three-man 47.4-or-better race in early June is not routine. It gives Nathaniel a headline win, Bassitt a PB-level result, and Dean another sub-47.5 reference point.

  • Nathaniel won in 47.37, officially 47.363.
  • Bassitt was second in 47.37, officially 47.365, and the result was marked PB.

USATF Lone Star Grand Prix presented by 44 Farms

A three-centimeter decision at 79 meters, backed by three more 75m-plus throws in the same competition, is the kind of field-event depth that carries global-final relevance.

  • Rogers won with 79.36m.
  • Richeson threw 79.33m for second and a PB label on the official page.
  • Five athletes exceeded 75m.

  • Muhumed won the men's 4-mile championship in 17:57.
  • Reid Buchanan finished second in 18:00 and Graydon Morris third in 18:05.

How we choose the eight

  • Selection criteria: significance, source quality, competitive depth, record impact, championship relevance, and cross-discipline balance.

  • Loaded claims: world lead, record, course eligibility, and all-time rank require visible source labels and timestamps.
  • Corrections: if a source changes or a reader flags an error, the issue and affected story should show an update note.
